SUSPENDED AGAIN! |
DeckTech like all contractors, must have a bond of $12,500 to protect consumers from unsavory contractors like they have proved themselves to be. In a CSLB action last year, DeckTech was required to also post a $15,000 bond in additional to their regular $12,500 bond. The reason for that was Decktech was found, after a hearing and multiple witnesses being heard, to have ripped off a consumer for over $28,000 and was ordered to repay the consumer the monetary loss the consumer suffered.
This suspension is serious, consumers who hired a contractor that doesn't perform can make a claim against the contractors bond. In this case, a consumer would be left unprotected against unsavory contractors like DeckTech has proved to be since there is no bond to make a claim against.
Read through this blog and you'll see the truth about Decktech Inc. We advise that you consult with CSLB, file a complaint if needed or just don't contract with them, there's much better contractors out there.
As you can see from a couple screen shots below, DeckTech makes a regular habit of having their license suspended, a sure sign that this contractor could leave you in the lurch. Don't take chances, look elsewhere, you'll be glad you did.
